Good Points

Great suction, easy to use, easy to clean, Hepa models great for allergy sufferers. Blockages easy to clear.


Bad Points

My hoses split, causing loss of suction, poor design on the crevice tool retaining clip.


General Comments

As with ALL dysons, the same goes for the Dyson DC04 De Stijl as long as you don't believe the hype these are fantastic vacuums, every six months, remove tower and filters and clean them, filters under tap and tower with a pressure washer, dry before replacement. Belt replacement (on clutch) requires special tools which most regular repairers now have. AVOID type 1 DC04 which has worst type of hose endfitting. Type 1 has grey rubber endfitting, type 2 has grey plastic endfitting.
