General Comments
After purchasing my wifes and my vacation through V-T-G, I waited 2 weeks and several phone calls to their "Customer Service" staff asking where my documents were. Upon receipt of the documents I found that they had booked our flight with us not sitting together. I had to pay an additional $30 direct to American to shuffle our seats. Nope, VTG did not offer an apology, excuse or offer to reimburse me...but did promise to call me back upon researching what happened...still awaiting that call (4-weeks ago). I have even written the CEO of VTG regarding this and several other "issues" and received a written reply (auto response?) that I would be contacted by a member of his staff...that was a week ago and I am still awaiting that phone call as well. Needless to say I am less than enchanted with V-T-G's service (or lack of) especially when I learned I could have booked directly with who they booked through...at the same price.
