Great choice of cars, very competitively priced. All easily searchable on their very good website.
You don't get to see the car until you've paid a deposit. There are some hidden fees, such as 'preparation fee' (even though the car doesn't get valeted), and transportation fee (to get the car from it's current site to the nearest site to you -assuming it's not there already).
Motorpoint stack them high and sell them cheap. There's no frills - e.g. you don't get a service or valet thrown in. It's a bit of an issue not being able to see the car beforehand. We turned up on site after having paid a £300 deposit and having waited three weeks for a car to be transported to our local site (with bankers draft in hand) only to find the car was in an extremely poor state. There were burn marks on the seats, poor respray job on a bumper, broken door trims, broken electric wing mirror, heavily stained trim, and so the list goes on. This was for an 8 month old car, and felt that the price didn't reflect the state of the vehicle. Just very disappointing to get to that stage and find you've wasted your time. if you want to look at another car you're probably going to have to wait another 2-3 weeks while another one gets transported locally. I'm sure if you're lucky enough to choose a good quality car first time they're ideal, but after our experience we decided to pay a bit extra at a local dealership. (oh and to be fair Motorpoint quickly agreed to refund our deposit with the minimum of fuss).
