NONE!!!
my car had only gone in with a tint bent in the top of the door frame and left the garage with a broken gear box.
When I got to the garage to pick up my car, I tried reversing off their drive only to find that I was going forwards!
I had a phone call from my insurance company who told me that the garage would not accept responsibility, even though the manager from the garage was the one who picked it up from my house and REVERSED it off my drive to get onto the tow truck.
My car was taken into the Nationwide garage after somebody attempted to break into my car (the thieves had just pulled the top of the door back before my alarm sent them running). My insurance company arrange for my car to be taken to Nationwide and after 2 weeks it still wasn't fixed and still no courtesy car. In the end my car was written off (all for a door!) so I bought my car back and went off to the Nationwide garage to pick up my car. When I got there I tried to reverse off their drive only to find that instead of reversing, my car was going forward, bad sign. I asked one of the men in the garage to come and help and he had a quick look under the bonnet and sprayed a bit of something and told me it was working again, off I go again and the same thing happens. In the end I asked this guy if he could ask somebody else to take a look as this spray, whatever it was, was clearly not working. He told me nobody could help! In the end I asked to see a manager, who wasn't there. I explained that my car had only come in with a tint bent in the top of the door frame and was leaving the garage with a broken gear box. They said if I wanted to leave it at the garage for the night while I sorted it out with my insurance company then it would cost me, so off I went doing 20mph down the motorway, not getting past 2nd gear. A few days later I had a phone call from my insurance company who told me that the garage would not accept responsibility. I told my insurance company I would repair the damage privately and it turned out that the gear linkage in my car was snapped. I would never ever use Nationwide ever again.
