Want to open a new business account, but now you need at least £5,000 to avoid charges. My existing account has these waived due to how long I have been a customer.
Been with Cater Allen Business Bank Account over 10 years (when they were Flemings), never a problem. Easy to deal with by phone. Web access is now available which is easy to use. I would suspect that for new small businesses the £5,000 requirement may be off-putting. But on everything else I have no complaints.
