Easy to use with the smoothover tool - just use your fingers for smaller areas and edges. Also the left over stuff has been used for filling in coving cracks and all sorts of stuff.
Ok so bit tricky to get smooth all over and will need sanding almost definitely but no big deal. Get one of those sanding blocks from 3M Sandblaster Sanding Sponge - they are brilliant and make it loads easier.
I'd say if you only have 4 or 5 patches on each wall (interior) then go for it. The largest I did was about 40cm square and about 4mm deep at the most. I have never plastered anything in my life but it really has been the best job of the decorating so far. It is do-able and not as much of a night mare as you may think.
