Apparent re-charging of canceled memberships as far as I am concerned.

General Comments

Ive been using Match.com for two months now after being convinced by my mother and a couple of friends who are single wanted me to try it out for them. Very easy to set up although I do suggest you have photos already available to be uploaded. As a guy I did everything asked of me. Paid the £67 pounds! Put up photos and profile. Only emailed the supposed matches. No responses (not even a no thanks) after a week. Then emailed over 30 matches. Still no responses. Now emailed over 60 and still no responses.
Now I'm supposed to be a bit of a catch, (apparently) attractive, young, own house, sports car, etc. but even I didn't get any responses. (actually to be honest I got 4 "winks".. 2 from over 40 years old women with kids and two from girls who always reply with the same questions so not reading the emails you send and obviously just like the attention).
The ratio of men to women is apparently more like 1000 to 1 even though I live in a small town. So if your a woman its paradise. If your a man then for me its the worse possible dating option in the world in my opinion.
In my opinion there also seems to be a lot of profiles that are quite strange, as far as I am concerned obviously to entice someone for something dodgy but they are very easy to spot (especially if they seem to be "professional models". Ive never met a professional model who needed to use a dating web site). There is also a lot of womens profiles that haven't been active for months. Whether they are real or just entisments to join who knows.
And despite their guarantee you have to have photos on immediately at the start otherwise as far as I am aware you wont get it. (Even though I did their system obviously doesn't know it was a leap year).

Reading other reviews, if your a woman you apparently find a guy in a few days. If your a guy, for me anyway, as far as I am aware I never even got a no thanks, so use the money to join a local club or something. I'm glad I joined but only because I (and my single friends) for me anyway, now know its a waste of time and money but it is depressing and upsetting when you've emailed over 120 women and get no responses) in my experience.
