General Comments

I think some of the previous commentators must have gone to a different restaurant. On Easter Sunday I had a lamb dish with couscous that was everything you could wish for - delicate, tender, melt in the mouth, followed by a stunning, rich chocolate tart. My other half was equally impressed with his steak and ale pie and strawberry parfait. Two courses of superb cooking, several glasses of coke for the driver and a generous glass of very good quality white wine for me, coffee and tea - all for just over '£20 a head. As for the person who commented on the smallness of the portions, perhaps you're used to 'all you can eat' buffets. We were glad we hadn't had starters. We saw some being served - and they looked very generous. I can't wait to go back.
