Great deals when I told them I was leaving
I do not recommend Virgin Media due their email, phone service and billing as I have had a bad experience with them.
Internet has deteriorated.
I got 4mb connection at peak I get less than 1 mb as far as I am concerned.
Sometimes I get less than .1 mb yes thats point 1 I've had 3 engineers round saying they don't understand why?
I have phoned there call center numerous times and the customer services are not very helpful in my opinion.
I even got charged for reporting a fault that as far as I am aware they could not describe as a fault because they could not fix it.
I have been with ntl since it started years ago one thing they always got right was the internet.
If you were on 1 mb you got 1.5 they always gave you more
Since virgin took over I get dial up speeds at peek times
As far as I am aware I also get kapped for downloading too much when i haven't downloaded anything
One of them said i see it all the time i keep putting it my boss to get them to do something.
They get you though i got my phone tv and internet so if i leave them i have to change my phone line to bt standard to get a different broadband supplier.
Eventualy i was put on 20mb to compensate and only paid for four.
Cheers fantastic it was up down like a yoyo i rarely got 20mb mostly 10 and sometimes 1mb in my opinion
Anyway i was happy for a few months till i got bill saying thankyou for upgrading to our premium service blah blah you owe us x amount when i phoned them I got very confused
There tech support guys said i had to be on 20mb connection or i wouldn't receive the service i was paying for.
Yes thats the truth
So they quashed the bill and put me on 4mb and guess what i getting same problems.
We got 3 pcs and xbox360 plus other stuff so i need a good connection
4mb works fine at 1 o clock in the morning when everyones in bed in my experience.n if you dont like this pls contact me at my.bigtoe@ntlworld.com
