Accurate and cheap first time rifle, Old guns never seem to break easily, but when they do they are cheap and easy to fix.
None.
I was given a mk 2 Meteor (made in the 1960's) a few years ago and it was in a bit of a mess, and recently got round to sorting it out. All it needed was a few spare parts (seals and new spring) a couple of hours TLC and some basic mechanical knowledge and It was working properly again. This is a great first time gun for anyone starting out in Airgun shooting, light, accurate and affordable. If you know what you're doing you can quite easily and cheaply take this gun towards the legal limit (12ft lbs), however I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you really know what you're doing or if you want to spoil it. Buy a standard spring enjoy the gun for what it is an 8ft lb plinking gun. Up to 30 yards it's brilliant but leave the bunnies alone!
