Excellent ride position - I suffer from lower back pain but this bike is great. Enough power but not in the same league as, say, your typical Nippon sports bike. If you want speed and performance don't buy a Harley! Forward controls make for a very comfortable ride. 17 litre tank.
The price. I did negotiate a reasonably good deal though with a Cissy Bar thrown in.
Acquiring a Harley Davidson motorcycle fulfils a life ambition for me. I test rode an XL883C - the test bike was fitted with Screaming Eagles and was (for me) a tad too loud. After all I don't really want to wake the neighbours up at 7:00a.m. (no really I don't!) I liked the 883C straight away. Comfortable, quick enough, handles well even around town. The 17 litre tank was a keen point for me as I don't want to keep stopping for petrol every 100 miles. I also rode an XL1200L. Loads of power of course but the low ride position and the controls under the seating position made for a most uncomfortable ride. I found it difficult to extract my leg from the bent position at traffic lights and nearly dropped it! XL883C - an excellent bike in my humble option!
