It was cheap and it looks good.
Route planning.
I have now tried to use this for several months for trip planning and directions. It will get me to the area I am going but the routing is very strange. It has taken me off a main road for a few blocks by several turns and then put me right back on the same road less than a quarter mile farther along. There seems to be no reason, it just likes to change roads. In my local area it tries to route me across a bridge which has not been open for 10 years and, in fact, was demolished a year before I bought the unit. A couple of days ago, in a strange area, it tried to take me through a power line right of way where there was no evidence that there had ever been a road. Fortunately, I could see the other end of the field and was able to find a way around it.
