Good Points

Good at making money and making broadband a misery for its users.

Bad Points

Ineffective customer service. Scandalously poor broadband connection - when I get one!

General Comments

Toucan Broadband wasn't great when I joined, but it gave me reasonable broadband and low cost mobile phone as a sweetener. But in the last couple of months it sank to ridiculous levels. Changing the customer service phone numbers and now charging for their use! I regularly arrive home from work to find NO broadband connection. When I do get one it varies from reasonable to worse than a 56k modem! I have been told by customer service that I can enjoy an 8Mb connection - at best it has been 1.5Mb. I have recorded several speedtests which are disappointing! Some are unable to complete because the connection is so slow. Have given up trying to contact them, just waiting for the end of the conract period. Toucan? More like Toucan't.
