Usually get to where you want to go, usually with baggage, no charge for movies on the mini screen
staff unfriendly, unhelpful, indifferent
airline generally dis-organized
An example of buffoonery - On a flight out of Fort McMurray to Seattle, on a morning in winter of -35C, (normal winter temperature), we sat on the apron for an hour while they waited for a temperature increase to allow them to de-ice the wings. Air Canada's stuff froze at these northern Canada temperatures.
Since this was just a weekend trip, and many passengers had already missed our connections, we asked if Air Canada would confirm us through to Seattle that day. They wouldn't, and after several tries the Captain finally exclaimed, "I'm from Vancouver, I don't even want to be here."
When we went to the counter to see about confirming us through on other flights the attendant had her supervisor advise us that, "we don't have time for re-booking you". At least we got our money back after a couple of weeks and several calls back and forth between departments.
