Um - DX 10?
Seemingly minor tweaks, but attention to detail has been paid.
Compatibility.
I never thought I would write a review of Windows Vista, but.... I've been putting off an 'upgrade' to Vista for quite a while. In fact, Vista Home Premium only lasted a week before XP went back on. Each manufacturer has to provide its own drivers, so is that Microsoft's' fault? I've just upgraded my cpu to a intel Q6600, with 8 Gb mem and 2 Tb of storage. Do you remember when a 4Gb hard drive was huge? Point is, I think I was a little harsh on Vista. With a decent setup it really is quite good - and it forces the experts to learn new ways to do things (Windows key + R being an obvious example - experts have to be experts) I still have to use a duel setup (i.e. XP pro + Vista Ultimate) - so in my opinion, Microsoft still have a way to go. After the farces of DX10 (DX9 Halo 2 works well!) I am hoping that Microsoft will stick by this product for at least 12 years.
