Good Points

Price against similar digital cameras although there are extras needed i.e. sensible size memory card.
superb picture quality.
excellent zoom performance.
Handling - Feel good factor (good fashion accessary for the ladies- or men!!).
Ease of use -particularly as a point and shoot camera.

Bad Points

Time delay on shooting - disappointing for action shots.
16 meg card supplied with camera is a joke.
Video cable supplied but no scart fixing??.
Editing Software supplied is very low spec.
Maximum 3 second time delay shots disappointing (or have I missed something?).

General Comments

Although I purchased an extra battery I have not found a need for it yet - excellent life.
Ability to use the electronic view finder for preview etc rather than lcd screen a good battery saving option.
Card reader is a must for downloading.
Eventually found a scart adaptor to view direct from camera to television despite most dealers advising of unavailability. Only a fiver from a specialist local DIY electrical outlet.
Persevere with vast array of features - promise you it is well worth it.
Although the camera is bordering on being a professional outfit, because of its "instant" ease of use I would particularly recommend it to newcomers to digital photography.
