Good Points

Economy (130mpg+) 16 stone ruder & some hard motorway riding.


Bad Points

Fuel tank 3.7 l, 130 mpg = 100mile range. Some rattling from the plastics around the headlight area, reduced by placing small strip of rubber between the headlight lens and surround. Engine breather fills with water in the rain, causing it to cut out when setting off from traffic lights.


General Comments

17,000 miles in 42 months (including 12 months garaged due to novelty of a bigger bike to play with) Daily 30 mile round trip commute in all weathers. Excellent. Regards rain into the air filter mentioned above, only problem I have had is with the engine breather getting full, causing it to cut out when stopped at lights. Cured that by drilling a 2mm hole in the breather and putting some high density foam inside to stop and dust being sucked into the engine. Good for 55-60mph (indicated) in most circumstances and that despite my not too dainty 16 stone (224 lbs) bulk.
