Good Points

- One of the best styling after Lamborghini.....matches Ferrari looks!!
- Great features like: 320+ hp,Twin Turbo, AWD, AWS, Active Aero, ECS, removable glass top, 6 speed transmission, nice climate control display!!
- Excellent handling (both dry and snow) and acceleration
- Excellent Value for money
- No mechanical issues, breakdowns or trouble of any sort
- Lumbar control and 8 way adjustable seats work great!!
- If you drive it nice, it will run for ever!!

Bad Points

I really need to think hard to find one......well I guess the interior could be more ergonomic and may be one shade more luxurious. In fairness, I think it is something that could have been further improved and shouldn't really go against the car. It was built 15+ years ago and still had all other features that not many car have even today.

General Comments

This is my third Mitsubishi VR4 and I simply love this car. I think its one of the finest cars ever made and has everything to impress everyone.....from great styling to excellent power....... from removable glass top to all the other bells and whistles like ECS, Active Aero, Dual Exhaust, Twin Turbo, AWD, AWS etc.
People put its heavy weight and gas consumption as a negative. I live in Mid-West and can tell you from my own experience how great it handles in snow compared to other sports cars that can't even leave their garage. I know AWD is a plus but I can bet a lot of it is also because its a heavy car and thus more stable and better traction. Its called "everyday Ferrari" for a reason!! It gives me about 19-20 mpg in city......what else can you expect from a 320+ HP, Twin Turbo machine.
I had a 1994 (red with tan interior) that had 68K miles. Kept it for couple of years with no issues what so ever. I then baught a 1998 (red with black) with 50K miles. My thought was I will get a later model and in my mind newer model = better but it didn't take me too long to learn that all the great features (LIke Active Aero, Glass top, Dual Exhaust, ECS, Nice cool climate control display etc) that my 1994 VR4 had are taken away from this car. In effect its now an Eclipse on steriods.
I sold that one and now I have a 1994 VR4 (red with tan) once again with only 37K miles. I tell you the moment I drove this car, I could tell how beaten up most of the VR4s are.....the turbos and car itself handles way better than my other VR4s that I owned. In this car you can not tell when turbos kicked in, all you can tell is that its REALLY fast!!
I am very happy with this buy and have had no issues with it what so far....its definitely something I plan on keeping for many years to come!
One last thing, repairs on this car might be more expensive than Honda or Corolla, but who said the pleasure or the cost of keeping a "Lion" is same as keeping a "Goat" - So you pick your preference!
