Looks, handling, exclusivity, torquey motor, that induction noise! I even like the riding position!
Bad Points
Wet winters when she has to stay indoors, delicate paintwork.
General Comments
I own one of the first Tre's, an 03 model, I bought her 6 months ago with just over 3k miles on the clock. Since then I have managed to rack up over 2000 trouble free miles, not sure how I managed to make them all dry, but, we must have had a dry winter! She never misses a beat, and has been utterly reliable from 300 mile rides out at the weekend to tootling through central London to the gym at the weekend. The handling is sublime, the harder you push, the better it gets, its comfortable (don't believe what you read in the press), the induction noise and exhaust note are heavenly. There is a growing dealership network and a great owners forum. If you want a bike that does more than take you from A to B, something that makes you grin no matter where you are doing on it, something that you cant pass in garage or drive without wanting to take it out for a spin.
