Good Points

Buffet food both for breakfast and evening meal was varied and plentiful. Only the most fussy would go unfed.
Rooms were clean and had been attended to everyday on our return from the slopes.
Bus stops right outside to take you up to Arinsal centre or to Arcalis.
Rear rooms have lovely views of the hillside & river.
Reception staff helpful.

Bad Points

You have to pay for your drinks with your evening meal (even water) and coffee/tea not supplied.
No kettle facilities in your room.
No boot drying facilities and no radiators that were on (though the hotel was roasting).
No shower in room - there was a shower head but hand held.
The room was really dark and we ended up taking light shades off the wall lamps!

General Comments

We were quite happy with our stay as the hotel staff were amenable, the food was reasonable and extremely plentiful. I had read bad reviews of the food before we went but there is plenty of choice and only the very fussy eater would go without. They have provided microwaves for those who like everything toasty hot it's not easy to keep buffet food warm & they have reacted to feedback.
I wouldn't rate this hotel as 4* because the little things that make the difference weren't there - the fact that you had to pay for all drinks in the evening is a bit off considering you pay half board. For this reason we found we really missed a kettle in our room and we used our balcony to store soft drinks. Also our group missed out on a free glass of Cava on the Friday meal as we assumed we'd be paying.
The bar was quiet, the entertainment was poor and the prices weren't that competitive to the village bars despite the hotel's claims. The atmosphere was grave like but that may just have been the week we were there.
We had a room for 3 which was a good size and we never had problems with noise at night only trying to get out of bed in the morning!
