Expedia.ca is not in the least helpful when an obvious problem exists, and the customer service rep was belligerent
We arrived for our hotel reservation at 12:30am. The front desk was closed for the night. Eventually we found a security guard that found us a clerk to help us check in. But there was no room for us (even though we had pre-paid). The resort had no record of a booking through Expedia.ca. Expedia.ca was unpleasant about the situation and made a half hearted attempt to help us find an alternate room. Expedia.ca says they are processing a credit (it is now a month after our booking night, and Expedia.ca had promised a credit within 7-10 days on the night we had the problem).
I had to phone again to get Expedia.ca to get the credit authorized (even the phone number on the credit card bill is not correct; it's for expedia.com, not expedia.ca) and now they are saying it will be processed "within 7-10 days". Thanks Expedia.ca!!!
