Works well, until motherboard fails. Well recommend - HP Compaq NX8220.

I own the HP Compaq nx8220. The laptop overheats and after barely a year of use, the screen blacked out. Up untill now, I have not taken any step to either repare or replace the screen. I am disapointed with a machine which apparently worked so well and with such good features and easy to use.
I still dont know what to do!
