Good Points

Good selection of old TV shows on DVD.
Price can be reasonable if they'd honor their agreement as far as I am concerned.


Bad Points

Ambiguous report form Zip in my opinion - can't identify specific problems as far as I am concerned eg. cracked/broken/scratched disk.

Uses Canada Post (I'm close by, but other's say turn around time is S-L-O-W)

In my opinion and experience a few envelopes that were stamped by CP were postmarked days after stated dates from their web site?

I have personally found them unhelpful.


General Comments

I am not comfortable with them holding onto my credit card information personally. As far as I am aware they reserve the right to bill you if they deem you are responsible for a "missing in action" DVD.

My experience has largely been positive. The few times I've felt the need to call customer service, I have not been satisfied with their handling of my concerns. In my opinion they want to send me as few titles a month as humanly possible, good for them, bad for me.

Their web site which indicates when they receive and send out your requested titles in my experience as far as I am concerned has been accurate.

I have received disks that still had white powder from the resurfacing machine, which were unplayable and had to be sent back. I believe I've received disks that were cracked in the center of the disks, and disks that were defective, I am finding it difficult to complain personally. Their response to my alerts were to blame me and my equipment. I use Pioneer, RCA and JVC equipment all purchased within the last 6 months 2 of which within the last 3 months. I do not recommend www.zip.ca
