Good Points

A good family fantasy film which was fairly easy to follow even if you haven't read the books.

Bad Points

Could scare some younger children & also a bit of diversion from the books - they changed the ending!

General Comments

I would recommend The Spiderwick Chronicles as a good family film to see over the easter holidays but perhaps not for children below the age of 6 or those that scare easily.
