difficulty setting up initially, getting batteries working


General Comments

I am very happy with the camera, when it's working.
The batteries supplied lasted about 2 hours. I purchased a top line Varta charger and hydride batteries. It seems to dislike the cold and I always have problems getting it going.
I kept getting 'unrecognised device' errors on initial installation and the Fuji technical support line was useless.
Fortunately I work in IT support and managed to get it working after a complete re-installation of Windows.
I recommend if anyone else gets this error to remove any anti-virus software you have and then re-install windows.
