Unhelpful customer service, every call in my opinion so far has met with the same answer, I'm afraid theres nothing I can do please ring tech dept. Tech department read a scripted response as far as I am concerned.
Been with toucan for 8 months and was very happy great speeds ect until last Monday when I noticed my speeds dropping. I phoned tech and after going through there comical tests twice I was told that my line only took up to 2Mbits, now for 8 months I'd been getting between 2.5Mbits and 3.2, 3.4Mbits and was getting these speeds with BT before they capped me and I left I paid BT for this upgrade so I know my line is capable of 3.9Mbits (I know thats not actual bandwidth I'd get) bear with me. So, now on a line that was getting 2.5 Mbits and above actual bandwidth speeds is now according to toucan only capable of a max of 2Mbits and I now get between 320kbps and 900kbps max at all times I never used during peak hours used mostly in morning 7am till 11am after that just surfing maybe half an hour playing a game, High level complaint team will be contacting me within the next ten days to discuss and resolve my problem not that I hold much hope, but my contracts done in 4 months and I'm off, done plenty of research and found a few very good isp's but not rushing into any contact going for a monthly one, I do not recommend Toucan Broadband.
