Cheap, fast and and easy set up.
The router is OK for the average user who just wants normal usage.
No option for pre N on the router and cannot gain access to the username and password which for some could be a turn off!
I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews for the SKY broadband package, but after spending 18 months with Talk Talk broadband and the telephone package i felt things can only get better.
Well SKY for me has been great. I have the 16meg max package and i get 14meg on a regular basis N.B (I am only a short distance away from the BT exchange).
I use the internet a lot and I currently use 2 Logik internet radios,1 sling box ,4PC's, and 1 XBOX 360 whicha re all connected to it and no problems so far.
The router case is the same design as the new sky box (but in miniture) which is a bit gimmicky ,but that aside the main thing we all look for is reliability and speed, and on both counts it's been very good for me.
The only down side so far for me is that the connection was 6 days later than the original date set by SKY.
I stress that the box supplied is OK and the range is OK, but for you techies out there ,you may want to use your own max range,pre N routers and I cannot gain the user name or password from the router supplied, so i don't think using your own router is a options (ask sky before you buy if this option is important to you!!!)
I thought it would be good to give some good feedback for SKY as my experience has been good so far.
