Bad Points

Chunky. Eats batteries.

General Comments

I bought this Fuji FinePix A405 (my first Digital) camera a few days ago and was up and running in no time. I would highly recommend this model to first-timers. It features a 3x Optical zoom and a true 2MP resolution SuperCCD sensor. It also has settings for 0.3,1 & 4MP and a movie mode (no sound though) and macro for close-ups. A 16MB xD card is included to store approx 25 images on the 2MP setting. (I would recommend buying a 64MB xD card which stores approx 101). Like most digital cameras it eats batteries so a charger and some AA Ni-MH batteries are essential.

It has now gone up in price sadly!

I'd fully agree with bogbeast have found the camera very easy to use, the zoom great and the picture quality really good. I had a HP digital camera last year but it stopped working very quickly so returned it. Compared to that camera i would say this one is a lot more battery efficient. Mine was a Christmas present so not sure how much it was!
