Good Points

Personally i think that this is an incredibly exciting book, very gripping and often very tense and worrisome.

Bad Points

There are some bad point associated with the first book. For example the beginning is very confusing as you usually can't understand what is going on, but then later on you pick things up and it starts to fit together. The end of the book is very tragic (i won't tell you what it is ) as that will ruin it for your. Also the book can be a bit boring at time as the description often goes on for a very long time.

General Comments

This book is very action packed and entertaining. The fight scenes are amazing and the way Peter F Hamilton describes them, makes you feel as though you are actually there. The novel is very descriptive and very fun to read. IT is the first of three books, Thus the name Night's dawn trilogy. I have read them all and believe that they are the best of Peter's work. The plot is very gripping and extremely imaginative.
