Good Points

Most of the staff were pleasant.
My sister was allowed to be in some of the photos too.
I was happy with many of my photos which is why I bought some.
It was an interesting experience.

Bad Points

Weren't offered refreshments (tea, wine, etc.) until after to hour and not even noticed for 10 mins - brochure said we'd be greeted and offered a drink straight away. Had to fill in questionnaire which I don't think was looked at. Manicure was just a couple of coats of polish. Some photography was unsuitable. Effects done to photos which we hadn't asked for in questionnaire. Although they said it wasn't a busy day, we felt rushed at times. £80 a photo is too expensive.

General Comments

I went with my Mum (her birthday treat from me) and we both felt it was rather slapdash and not tailored to us. We found the questionnaire confusing and then it seemed to be totally ignored. We asked the make-up chap to do what he thought would suit us and mine looked fine but my Mum looked a bit washed out (except for blusher). No mascara on her bottom lashes and nothing on her eyebrows although they're very pale. Hair styling was OK though could have been better. I had taken different footwear to suit my different outfits but only one photo (which I didn't like) showed footwear although I'd asked for some full length photos. My Mum was told not to smile and to pose in some out of character poses so the photos didn't capture her personality at all (she smiles all the time) and she was very disappointed and so didn't buy any photos. She felt the photographer just didn't know what to do with someone of nearly 70 years. It would probably be all right for models wanting photos for their portfolios. Even with discount for quantity, I ended up paying over £600 for 10 photos in an album (haven't received it yet so can't comment on that) + 1 enlargement and a CD. Had 1 free photo. We wouldn't recommend this studio to anyone wanting a real makeover.
