Thomas Cook Reps were top notch!!
The sad git that stole my handbag!
Having travelled with Thomas Cook for many years. I thought only of traveling with them again this year as I headed off to Sunny Ibiza!! Unfortunately we never arrived until 2.30 in the morning having had long day at the other end we decided to go out and stretch our legs. Time we got to the hotel and chucked our bags in the room we went for a walk!! As we were walking through the town myself and my husband there was a motorbike come whizzing past me and next thing I know I'm lying on the ground. Some person was desperate enough to steal the handbag off my shoulder as he drove past. Well When I got back to the hotel I went to reception and the guy was very unhelpful told me there was nothing he could do till morning and told me to go to bed and chill out! Well this was my first time in Ibiza so I thought i would have a little look at the guest board and noticed a 24hour number not having met a rep before or even had my welcome meeting my husband decided to give them a call!! Within half an hour there was a rep came to our hotel and helped us through speaking to the police and translating for us... advising on how to contact our insurance company and advising what to say! If it hadn't been for a top notch company like this then I'm sure I would have been in great difficulty. In fairness people may have had a bad experience but I have traveled with many a tour company and Thomas cook are by far the best so they have glitches but so do every other company you wont have a company with 100% customer satisfaction. People can be so hard to please. As per reviews on the internet, you will always get more complaining than actually writing good about!! I honestly have to rave about the service that Thomas cook give me from booking in their offices to the resort staff and even their 24 hour duty office staff!!
