No response at all when you request to close the account
and that's after faxing and 2 months of calls to no avail. They say they will do something on the phone and never do. They send no written acknowledgement of my requests at all.
It is rapidly approaching April and I have been asking for my A+L Commercial Account to be closed since January. Nothing has been done to comply with my request at all.
A complaint was put through on computer at the local A+L branch to close it and when I checked up on advancements a week later - still nothing had been done. On top of this, the account number on the complaint had been changed to the wrong one.
Each time I call I am told it will be sorted and to "have a nice weekend". Of course there are stress symptoms including loss of sleep. Each time - NOTHING IS DONE BY THEM IN RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST.
I have now compiled a record of events and have realised that nothing will happen from just my asking. This requires legal help.
