General Comments

I own a career 707 mk2 in 22 cal.it powers out 53ft pounds at lower and 57ft pounds on high setting.using 22 bisley magnums ive found these very accurate and lethal on quarry. its a good allrounder does the same job as a 22 rimfire without the worry of how far the round will travel.22 rimfire subsonics produce 90 ft pounds and shoot 40 grain bullets and my career produces nearly 60ft pounds using 21 grain pellets. can you see the similarity. A much better allrounder and safer to use and has the looks of a shotgun. I take 10 shots and then pump 30 times on hand pump to top up gun i find it easier. excellent product.

devillbiss it was quite refreshing to read your review on the effectivness of your 707. tell me how did you stumble accross such an effective tool?, and what made you choose .22 magnums?. did you try many brands of ammo or were magnums recommended to you by someone in the know?

ive always fancied an air rifle that has the power potential to dispose quarry similer to that of a 22 rimfire. i once owned a 22 rimfire an excellent tool on small quarry but a dangerous round for ricochets. the round hasnt got enough power to disintegrate the bullet.a 22/250 will disintergrate if it hit a stone it has the power to do so. Less chance to ricochet. hence why i chose an air rifle.i was recomended bisley magnums i tried them found them excellent for quarry and accuracy so why change.can you recomend a good pellet. i havent tried anything else. good tool for close fox work. 60 yards clean kill no problem head shot.merry xmas lochness

hi dev, funnily enough i own a rapid 7/12 which is fac rated and have been struggling to find suitable ammo to cope with the power, untill i tried magnums.the worst ones i tried were eley wasps, couldnt hit a barn door at 5 paces.
Have you done any penetration tests with your weapon .it must be quite devastateing to be able to dispatch a fox at that range.whats it like on smaller quary?
I have been thinking of tryin a different calliber other than.22, have you any suggestions?
could you reply a bit sooner next time!
    merry xmas,
    nessy
