Ford Transit 350 LWB MR 125bhp Review

Good Points
very well put together van ,no creaks or vibrations like the old transit. good finish of paint to exterior,great inside , loads of storage holes.power from the 125bhp is very smooth ,good pull from turbo at low revs.economy is around mid thirtys and thats with a luton back, so this is very good.performance on motorway is such an improvement on the last model , gives safe overtaking at all speeds, this is extra important if you carry a luton box on the back. how many times have you tried to pass a h.g.v. only to draw level and no more power to get past?, well not any more ,these things go. great visability and driving height is spot on. I'm well pleased.

Bad Points
well having owned the van for only a few weeks now I cannot fault this van at all. time will tell.

The Ford Transit 350 LWB MR 125bhp is a very well put together van.
having owned a l.w.b. transit 190 2.5 1993 for 10 years now and clocked up 359,000 miles on the same engine you can see why I am so pleased with my new van. there is just no comparison with the old model at all. they are cheaper to run (around mid thirtys )with a luton back , they will do 80-90 on the motor way all day in comfort.seating is on of the best i have tried. being 6ft 6 ins i need to have the seat fully back,i can do this and recline the seat as well for added comfort.all in all it's the best van I have ever owned ,including mercs.
