General Comments

My claim was denied after my phone disappeared form my office desk. Phonesafe CPP www.cpp.co.uk state that I left my phone unattended in a public place as I work in a hospital despite the fact that my office is in an 'authorised persons only' area' of the hospital and that there was other staff in the office at all times.

I took out insurance for peace of mind in the event of loss or theft of my phone, after looking closely at the terms and conditions of the policy it seems that in most instances that you would either lose your phone or for it to be stolen the policy would actually be invalid.

Taking out insurance with this company was a total waste of my money. I am in the process of making a complaint to the financial ombudsman as I believe that the limitations that the insurance company apply make the policy practically worthless.
