The Lightning XL is amazingly acurate. Shooting Noise is at or below the Gamo Whisper but much more acurate with group shooting. I highly reccomend a sturdy lighted optic for low light varmint hunting.
Optimal package would include hi-glow free sights and a solid lighted scope and light for varment hunting.
This is the best air rifle for money. If you can afford The BSA Lightning XL you will love it. i can hit 2x2 target groups consistently at 50 yds. Small to mid size varmints are easy, much like the many cans and bottles. The gun is just a lot of fun!!!
