Nice quiet location and good deal on laterooms

One miserable receptionist. A bit quiet
General Comments
Stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Got a good deal with laterooms. Decent room although nothing spectacular. Too far outside of Llangollen so you either have to get a taxi in or drive unless you fancy a hike. Llangollen is a really nice place to spend a day. There is a steam train ride, canal boat trip and some quality shops. There are also some nice eating places if you are not dining at your hotel.
The hotel bar is ok and the hotel grounds are simple but pleasent. It is located next to the canal which is quite picturesque. Would recommend for a nights stay. The food in the restaurant is very good and excellent value if you can get the same offer as I did with laterooms.
