Good Points

Easy to use, internet banking well set up


Bad Points

Calls from random telesalers, awkward overdraft extensions, unhelpful people on the phone


General Comments

My whole family has always had accounts with HSBC, my local branch is full of lovely, helpful people (the manager once wavered a charge on a transfer in branch as i wasn't aware of it), but once i left my little town i've had nothing but grief with them; they wouldn't extend my overdraft in second year, i get ridiculous amounts of incomprehensible letters, often telling me contradictory things about 'changes in my T&Cs', and cold callers, a lot, asking me questions about my account. if i could be bothered with the hassle i'd change banks!
