Unhelpful in my opinion.
General Comments
They prohibit individuality and anything deemed potentially "offensive" more so than any other social networking site that I have had experiences with. They seem to let anyone be an admin most of whom are on a power trip deleting and banning anyone they don't like. Extremely unprofessional in that regard, but given the majority of its users such as behavior suits them.
The commonly used slogan for the commercial end of VF is paradoxical considering that it is the mainstream in my opinion.
It has a superficial rating system which is intended to allow users to rate each other from 1 to 10, however users generally only rate 1 or 10 and conscionable rating is inadvisable as they have a policy against "downrating" as far as I am concerned therefore I do not recommend VampireFreaks.com.

I have to agree, the site has some terrible problems with prohibiting individuality. If you are 12 its perfect. Help is non-existent. Many of its users post offensive remarks and pictures and the MODs do nothing.
I would not advertise on their site if it was free.
