Good Points

Quiet. The only integrated washer dryer I could find to run on a timer so I can use economy seven electricity.


Bad Points

Broke down irreparably within a year. I read here that several other people have experienced this. Hotpoint took over 6 weeks to sort this out. Customer Services were absolutely USELESS. Long waiting times on hold, usually failed to have any answers when I got through.


General Comments

I have never felt moved to post on one of these sites before, but my experience with Hotpoint has left me so frustrated I have no other recourse. Customer Services has just written to me saying "they consider the matter closed" - what sort of a dialogue is that?? I am out of pocket by '£70 for a plumber as their engineer flatly refused to attempt to reconnect my machine - they will not consider even a token recompense for this. Seven visits in total by repairmen for one item. I have no faith in the replaced machine. All my other white goods are good names such as Neff and the kitchen company advised me to have their washer dryer too - but I regret I asked for this one now. Spend a little more and save a lot in the long run is my usual motto. Maybe an electrician could have got round the timer issue for using the machine at night?
