The Trigger
Bought My 440 for $100.00 (new) with the intentions of doing
a "lube and tune on it". Always liked the looks and light weight
of this rifle but I've had some bad experiences with Gamo's
although I like my remaned CFX. What a shock this rifle has
been. No need to "lube&tune" my example of this rifle it's as
smooth as silk from start to finish. Why can't all Gamo's be
this good? Only China QC is weaker. The only thing I am doing
to this baby is a trigger transplant from the "Tuna". With only a
couple hundred shoots thru it it shoots as streight as any hunt-
ing gun I have even with a heavy trigger etc. Shoots accross the
chrony @ well over 900fps with a varity of pellets with a high of
991fps with Daisy Precision Max pointeds and 1167fps with
PDA's. This shooting was done on a humid day which as you
know tends to slow things down a bit. This gun is going to be
a hard act to follow. Get one if you can,if it's anything like this
one you won't be sorry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
