All activities were excellently run and very enjoyable. The food at Hugo's, we have lunch there several times, was delicious and interesting. Very good customer service if a problem arises. Lots of places to sit and enjoy a coffee.
The new restaurt Bella Italia is not a patch on the old italian at center parcs, the center parcs staff also have no control over it if you have a problem and you cannot book a table so it's not unusual to wait 45mins to an hour for a table during the evening. All the restraurants at this center parcs seem unable to cope with the number of customers. We visited in the off peak season and were told at 6pm that the soonest a table or takeaway was available would be 9:30pm.
There is also a problem with villa keys, there were 5 adults in our party but only 2 villa keys so we had to be very organised to not be locked out.
Lots of minor issues with villa sutch as boiler and fridge being switched off.
After many happy visits to the Nottingham center parcs we decided to try the Elveden parc. We were disappointed by the restaurants and some of the general upkeep of the parc, lots of lights out along paths. The "food court" style layout of the restaurants is a problem especially as you have no choice in listening to the "entertainment" provided making relaxing meal out impossible. We would deffinatly stick to Sherwood forest villa in future.
