Good Points

Location, size of plots and peace and quite away from any main road..

Bad Points

Being asked to leave the bar at 10.15pm was the most un-natural thing to cope with whilst here. We would have ate in the bar more often if the meal times were not so early. I do not want to eat at 7.00pm whilst on holiday. Shop was small and limited. No fresh bread unless you ordered it the day before. Shower block was modern but sometimes smelly and had problems with providing continuous hot water.

General Comments

We visited this site in June 2007 and expected to be blown away with the service given the other review we read on this website. We must say we were disappointed. Being asked to leave the bar because the owners family was asleep in the top of the house was ridiculous and he was not very subtle in asking us to leave. We are in our 50's and it was the first time either of us have been asked to leave a bar in Europe before 4.00am! We were much better treated at a French run site in Jard su Mer the week before.

I find this reviewer's attitude appalling. I don't know what sort of campsites he goes to but I wouldn't want to be on them. Most reputable campsites are quiet after 11 p.m. and that it what most campers want, particularly those with young families and those wanting a peaceful holiday. If you want nightlife I suggest you go off the campsite, or go to one which advertises nightlife.
As for not getting bread unless you order it the day before, again that is perfectly normal.

I found this review unhelpful because... I found the bar to be open until 11.00pm in the peak season (plenty late enough) taking into consideration that this is a family site and those with children do not want to be woken up at all hours by drunk brits stumbling back to their units. Yes the shop is basic, it stocks the essentials. There is a choice of four supermarkets within a 10 min travelling distance of the site for bulk buying. I also found that the staff were friendly and helpful.
