The Sky Engineer is very nice
Sky + is the most overrated piece of junk I have ever experienced in my life. (and how Sky get away with selling dodgy equipment is beyond me)
Hi have been a sky customer for 20 years and 3 weeks ago upgraded to Sky+ & multi room, until then we have never had a problem with Sky, since the sky + was installed just 3 weeks ago we have had a Sky Engineer visit us 6 times. The Sky + box looses signal and then locks down, there is some building work going on across the road and the engineer is adamant it is the crane, over the weekend the sky unit packed up twice, the crane has not moved. It always appears to pack up about 7:50pm, the screen goes black, we switch the sky unit off and on again and get nothing. (the old sky box multiroom is still working by the way, so I can't see how it can be a signal problem surely that one would also pack up?). I spoke to the developers across the road unfortunately he can't move the crane (its going to be there for 4 years), I don't think it is all the crane doing?. We will call the engineer again today, he is brilliant on Friday he spent the whole afternoon at our place and had many a cup of tea. I will keep you posted.
