I applied for a loan online. they rang the next day, they said they could offer me the loan and talked about apr and repayments, and I would have the money in 4-5 days, all I had to do was pay the £49.50 admin fee. I knew I didn't have this amount in my account and told them I would ring back, The guy kept on at me for my card details, but at this point I was still unsure, I must've had about 12 calls on my landline and mobile the rest of the day. The next morning I received the paperwork, at no time did they hint at being a broker, just confirmed I would receive the money, I now became convinced and rang back with my card details, up to this point their cust service was A1, since I handed over the fee they continued to call me, foolishly I thought this was for info, but no, each time they said they were calling for the admin fee, arghhh. anyway I became suspicious and did some research, I became very concerned and tried to cancel. I was put on hold 7 yes 7 times I spoke to customer care then put on hold forever, the calls were never answered. Yesterday, i rang cust care and got the supervisor on and managed to get my loan cancelled and now waiting for my refund, Here's hoping.
Can anyone recommend me a decent loan company for poor credit history?
