I have owned three Ford Cortina's found them to be very good on fuel the one I own now dose 35MPG on run and around 30MPG about town both car have never let me down. My last Cortina was owned by me and my father for 24 years it was best car we have ever had. Started first time very time and would run for ever and just to back this up it only broke down 4 times 24 years and was red mark 4 2.0 ghia.
Only thing wrong with them is the body work can be problem with rust coming in some pain in the ass places.
Super cars I still own one and I am buying another both are in great nick the I have now as just 7.410 miles on the clock from new. And I am buying 1982 Cortina Crusader this week all my Cortina bar one have been 2.0 litres this one picking up Wednesday has done 69.860 miles from new.
