Sales techniques.
The Weather Seal representative was invited to visit to measure and provide the lowest price for the supply and fitting of eight windows.
The example window was fine, his "patter" was slightly amusing, his first quote was, and I reminded him, "The lowest price" '£14.900.
To my response of, "Do I look stupid?", and, a little more "patter", the special offer, "as we are saving on advertising and you get the benefit", '£9.700.
"Too much" I said.
"Tell me what price you are looking for" he said.
"Your lowest price" I said. "Best that I can" he said.
Following day. Ring-ring, "I am the manager at Weather Seal, I can give you a "Managers special offer" of '£6.500."
Saving so far, '£8.400.
Who in their right mind would deal with a company like this?
