Good Points

You can use your cash card abroad and they wont charge you, plus the exchange rate you get is actually far better than you will find available to tourists.


Bad Points

The long queues at branches. Make sure you have enough money in your account, they are not afraid to charge you for going overdrawn or unpaid direct debit.


General Comments

I have nothing but praise for the way the Nationwide Basic FlexAccount treats you. If you have a problem, you ring them up and they really do sort it out.

They will charge you for any violations such as direct debits and bounced cheques.

They do pay you a fairly good interest rate on your credit balances.

I will not be changing accounts any time soon.
