Good Points

Robust Telephonists. I screamed and they kept their cool.


Bad Points

Poor communications with CRM system, telephonists and Engineers. Everything basically.


General Comments

My British Gas nightmare started with the boiler making the sound of a boeing 747 landing the the house everytime the hot water was run. I called back in October to get it sorted. The end result?

I have had the grandparents round FOUR times to let an engineer in, 2 x they didn't show, 1 x they 'had to order a part'.

I have taken 3 x 1/2 days off work with 2x no shows and 1x plainly couldn't fix it.

Come January it still felt like we lived on the 3rd runway of heathrow airport and BG still couldn't get an engineer out or get the part.

7-10 phone calls later: February ,I managed to get an engineer booked in WITH the part, only for them not to turn up.

March, SIX months (£107.94 worth of Insurance) after I initially reported the problem I have cancelled my policy.
