I haven't taken the Independent since 1992, when the editorial told us there was no alternative to ERM membership and anything else was folly.
Well, folly won and turned out to be the best thing ever for the British Economy (until Brown wrecked it of course).
But this grey and humourless publication continues to pump out its multi-cultural-metropolitan-espresso drinking, black polar-neck wearing, europhile-marxist propaganda. If you're not one of those leave the rag alone. Thankfully Neal Ascherson has departed. But they give us Johan Hari instead. And Steve Richards' slavish devotion to all things Brown and beautiful is particularly irritating. His views need taking apart, as does the paper's editorial line, tho' given the pitiful circulation of the paper it hardly seems worth it. Live and let die hopefully
